Ze ging onverteerbaar vroeg dood. Ons hulpeloos achterlatend met slechts drie muzikale albums. Het door mij bewierookte album &#8216;La Llorena&#8217; is kennelijk inmiddels ook alweer twintig jaar oud. Ik heb Lhasa n\u00f3\u00f3it geassocieerd met mijn favoriete vakantieland IJsland. Vincent Segal brengt ze samen in zijn interpretatie van &#8216;Con Todo Palabra&#8217;. Kippevel! Oefenen voor de concerten in Reykjavik.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Inmiddels begrijp ik meer van de IJsland-Lhasa connectie. Ze was op 23 en 24 mei 2009 voor twee concerten in Reykjavik. Luttele maanden voor haar dood. Die concerten werden destijds prachtig en liefdevol opgenomen, zoals blijkt uit haar eerste en waarschijnlijk enige postume album &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/info.audiogram.com\/lhasa-live-in-reykjavik\/\">Live in Reykjavik<\/a>&#8216; dat op 1 december is uitgebracht.<br \/>\nHoogtepunten zijn er in de vorm van het ingetogen walsende &#8216;Bells&#8217; en het temperamentvolle &#8216;Para el fin del mundo&#8217;.
