Daarbij stuitte ik op een clip van zangeres Mayra Andrade. Zij wordt door kenners geprezen voor haar moderne interpretatie van de traditionele&nbsp;<em>morna<\/em>&nbsp;muziek die we in Nederland wellicht nog kennen van de legendarische voorgangster van Mayra: Ces\u00e1ria \u00c9vora.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De YouTube-clip die ik destijds bij dat bericht plaatste is helaas in het digitale niets verdwenen, maar niet getreurd. Die werden in de 15e eeuw ontdekt door Portugese scheepslieden en gekoloniseerd. Dat verklaart de Latijnse klanken.
