Hetzelfde overkwam Kirsty Maccoll op 18 december 2000 toen ze na een duik in Mexico boven water kwam, precies op het moment dat daar een speedboat op razende snelheid over het water scheerde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"778\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nicomokveld.nl\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/Schermafbeelding-2024-04-26-185622-778x675.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32649\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Op het onvolprezen Reddit vind ik nog een <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/MorbidReality\/comments\/kgc8ec\/the_retrieval_of_the_singer_kirsty_macolls_body\/\">bericht<\/a> van dat onfortuinlijke moment. Bij mijn weten haalde het duikincident destijds niet de Nederlandse kranten, radio of TV. <br>BBC Radio2 stond er destijds wel uitvoerig bij stil.
