Wat inmiddels ook in de Verenigde Staten het geval is. Vorig jaar werden er zelfs dubbel zoveel dollars gespendeerd aan platen versus cd\u2019tjes. Er gingen in de VS maar liefst 43 miljoen ouderwetse platen over de toonbank. Op het niveau van 2004, toen er ruim 900 audiozaken waren, zit het nog lang niet. &#8220;We zien een voorzichtige ombuiging van de curve&#8221;, zegt marktonderzoeker Gertjan Slob. &#8220;Jarenlang zaten ze in een vrije val. Die is niet alleen gestopt; het aantal vinylwinkels neemt op dit moment zelfs weer wat toe&#8221;, zegt Slob. Daaronder zijn ook winkels die ook andere producten verkopen dan vinyl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het zijn geen mega-aantallen maar de trend is opmerkelijk, zegt Esther Vollebregt van Record Store Day Nederland. &#8220;Van pop-up-stores tot koffietentjes die vinyl erbij verkopen en hele nieuwe zaken.
