Terwijl zij nota bene samen met Pink Floyd zalen platspeelden in Londen en Parijs en ook optraden op het Holland Pop Festival in Kralingen en op Pinkpop.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het is september 1969 wanneer de Tilburgse psychedelische band The Dream onder aanvoering van Floris Kolvenbach met Pink Floyd door ons land toert. Op de affiches wordt The Dream even groot aangekondigd als hun Engelse vakbroeders. Afspraak is dat de bands om en om als hoofdact op het podium zullen staan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"epyt-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\"  id=\"_ytid_17905\"  width=\"629\" height=\"354\"  data-origwidth=\"629\" data-origheight=\"354\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/57oN7s35HdI?enablejsapi=1&#038;autoplay=0&#038;cc_load_policy=0&#038;cc_lang_pref=&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;loop=0&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;playsinline=0&#038;autohide=2&#038;theme=dark&#038;color=red&#038;controls=1&#038;disablekb=0&#038;\" class=\"__youtube_prefs__  epyt-is-override  no-lazyload\" title=\"YouTube player\"  allow=\"fullscreen; accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen data-no-lazy=\"1\" data-skipgform_ajax_framebjll=\"\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zo gebeurt het dat het publiek in Groningen denkt Pink Floyd te zien spelen, terwijl in werkelijkheid The Dream voor hun neus staat. The Dream is ook de eerste Nederlandse band die met een heuse rockopera op de proppen komt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Dream heeft van 1966 tot 1973 bestaan. In 2007 gaven zij nog eenmaal een concert in theater de&nbsp;Agnietenhof&nbsp;te&nbsp;Tiel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicomokveld.nl\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/Schermafbeelding-2026-07-12-182941.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"805\" height=\"815\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nicomokveld.nl\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/Schermafbeelding-2026-07-12-182941.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-34428\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nicomokveld.nl\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/Schermafbeelding-2026-07-12-182941.png 805w, https:\/\/www.nicomokveld.nl\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/Schermafbeelding-2026-07-12-182941-139x141.png 139w, https:\/\/www.nicomokveld.nl\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/Schermafbeelding-2026-07-12-182941-88x88.png 88w, https:\/\/www.nicomokveld.nl\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/Schermafbeelding-2026-07-12-182941-50x50.png 50w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 805px) 100vw, 805px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gelukkig is er in 1994 nog een dubbel-CD verschenen om te voorkomen dat \u00e1lles wat The Dream in die periode maakte in het grote niets zou verdwijnen. Overigens is ook die CD uiteraard inmiddels alweer heel moeilijk te vinden, maar &#8230; wie zoekt, zal vinden.
